AlekflyfireSpectatorPumpkinland 2.0 – Jimmy is always so dry.
AlekflyfireSpectatorHe’s been \"doing\" costumes since day one – no reason to stop now
AlekflyfireSpectatorMy mom has blue pjs like that, the pics are really good, how close were you. The one with a clear shot of Lisa’s keytar is my fave, gee I hope she stays with the band.
AlekflyfireSpectatoryeah i didn’t watch all of those – after that lobsters clip – meh, the only thing other than the ask a pumpkins youtube nonsence that’s really annoyed me since the return of SP
Edit: oh and \"sp2\"
AlekflyfireSpectatorthis is a joke right, its not really for sale for 10k, im going to the site, damm i needs me a sugardaddy, no wait that’s gross
AlekflyfireSpectator😆 i like those steps… realistic
agh. im trying to get a band started, but it’s not gonna happen until im older, i know it. there’s no one at school who has an interest in playing SP/mcr type-ish music. so yeah, it sucks. blergh, i’ve just gotta give it time.[/quote:jubs2s1z]
do it now, I said that in high school that i’d wait blah blah and now im about to finish grad school, next semester and im still im my room with my guitar playing songs no one hears, no wonder i like SP.
AlekflyfireSpectatorexactly, metro dvd, chicago songs, none of this is ever gonna happen
AlekflyfireSpectatorWhen bc does things like this it reminds me why I still care about this band after 16 years. Gotta love a keytar.

what I meant I want the the legit white promo one you mentioned – not that I’d ever have the extra cash to cough up for it. I know the coloured pics are boots as well & people obviously buy them, why who knows. My collection sucks though
AlekflyfireSpectatorbad joke i know. It’s late and im still working[/quote:18hagwbi]
hey alek, welcome! it’s a great joke actually you call for help of the spfreaks and call us netphorians. i see the "it’s almost weekend and i don’t wanna work anymore" sarcasm. got kicked off there too? it seems to have happened to a few people here also. and gonna buy the vinyl now?[/quote:18hagwbi]Nah was gonna buy if it was legit, but didnt after reading all your posts. I went back to the store this morning and someone had brought it.
Those clear vinyls Cool As Ice Cream just posted are different to the pic. disc in the store though.
I want real one now, grrrr.
AlekflyfireSpectatorFrom pitchfork
http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/article/n … -an-injuryPumpkins Concert Death Not an Injury
Photo by Shervin LainezAfter conducting an autopsy yesterday, September 27, Vancouver regional coroner Owen Court determined that the death of 20-year-old Richmond, British Columbia resident Kenny Leung at a Smashing Pumpkins show earlier this week was not the result of moshing or crowd-surfing, according to a report on The Globe and Mail’s website.
The Globe and Mail quoted Court as saying, \"There is absolutely no evidence of any injury and therefore I would say, what you would call moshing or crowd-surfing would have nothing to do with this whatsoever. There was no injury on this young man.\"
In the absence of a trauma injury, the coroner is looking to toxicology tests to provide an explanation for Leung’s death.
The Pumpkins responded to the tragedy with a post on their website:
\"The Smashing Pumpkins were deeply saddened to learn about the passing of a young man who attended their Vancouver show Monday night (September 24). As they and everyone else await news from the investigation into the nature of his passing, the band want to express their sincerest condolences to his family and friends.\"
The band’s tour continues tonight, September 28, in Salt Lake City.

early sunsets is my fave on IBYMBYBMYLoh crap double post – sorry
AlekflyfireSpectatorInitially, the \"link\" btw sp and mcr is that the Way brothers, (singer and bass) site sp as of one their main influences. When their second record hit (2004) they mentioned sp in a host of interviews. I know this ‘cuase my cousin who’s 12 was/is really into them and he asked me if the sp they were mentioning was my sp (my sp – so cute). So lazy music media – easy to compare them, and now with sp’s return, 90s bands v newer bands that sell records.
dont get the haters though, sure sp isnt selling MCIS era bucket loads, but i cant see it as an i’ll buy/support mcr and not sp or vice versa. Sonically not in the same ball park (GO CUBS)
SP 3rd record MCIS
MCR 3rd record Black ParadeBut their first record is great for a debut, quite raw and production is not so compressed as on Three Cheers or Black Parade.
So SP wins for mine
AlekflyfireSpectatorvinyl cause the good guys always have the bad stuff

all the bad guys have the good stuff
AlekflyfireSpectatorLisa had just posted, her pics are great & a some nice new keys to boot
AlekflyfireSpectatorseen them twice now – rock am ring and Shepheards bush, I was totally apprehensive at first, as in Billy’s gone and got himself some ringers. On those two occassions Jeff was great, I was up the front and in the pit for both shows and there was some nice chemistry going on between Jeff and BC. He can shred. Having seen the pumpkins 6 times before, as a wee child, it didnt make me pine for what could have been.
AlekflyfireSpectatormy current fave
