    Err…

The point of the film is to highlight how strong love can stand even in the most dire of situations, when everything around you and yourself is fucking up.[/quote:35i27q8g]

i am sorry, but love should include the UNBORN BABY in the tummy, no love for that poor soul who will be born addicted to drugs, and probably with mental problems due to all the alchohol injested while pregnant. i smoke, but i did not smoke while pregnant, and i sure as shit did not do any kind of drugs.

sorry, i just have this soap box laying around and got up on it.[/quote:35i27q8g]

Yeah I know, but they were in a real fucked up situation – I think she was pregnant to show just how fucked up it all was.

Also, I like to put fireworks on a time-based fuse in soap boxes.

    Just saying, is all.

but my husband really wants to start a harley dealership. so i would say that any plans of mine would take back burner.

but i would love to do that. a record shop, or a bookstore, or both combined into one. now that would be cool.[/quote:3cbdelcv]

    That would be pretty cool.

    Hey that’s cool.

Open an independent record store – sell at competitive prices and stuff.

Sell really rare albums by really obscure artists that broke up within 3 months of releasing their debut and watch the indie kids flock to you!

If you’re serious, discuss this with your bank manager or something. Also, if you have an enterprising friend (or friends) go into a partnership.

    http://www.sigur-ros.co.uk/media/

You can download some stuff from there – I recommend Staralfur and Olsen Olsen, but most of it is pretty good.

See-gur Rowss (row like row row row your boat)

They have a pronunciation on their wikipedia page.

A band which someone recommended to me, I listened, and now really quite like:
    Cursive.
You may have heard f them, may not have, whatever. They’re a pretty cool band.

Also recommended are Sigur Ros (they were recommended before, but DAMMIT i’m gonna recommend them even more). They are just pure brilliance.

"Her beautiful white body is free from marks."

That could be mistaken as another thing up for sale if there wasn’t a picture. Of course the "the end of her tail is slightly dry" would raise intriguing doubts.[/quote:1hcbv3i3]

i know. its like they’re talking about a person. its creepy.[/quote:1hcbv3i3]

And fortunately, neither of you will know some of the most disturbing things that go on on the internet. That link both of your comments.

    Do not ask.

    Ever.

    house phone or cell phone[/quote:mwzsyur6]

    Cell phone.

I don’t know why, but I suffer severe anxiety when I have to make a call through the house phone, like I’m being put on the spot or something.

    Traditional or modern?

I just cannot get over how much I love the song ‘Starálfur’ by Sigur Ros.

It’s just so beautiful and ethereal… it’s wonderful.

And it’s in Icelandic which makes it more awesome and ethereal!

And the lyrics translate to a story about an elf! A staring elf! I mean, how awesomely bizarre is that?!?

I highly recommend you listen to it if you haven’t already.

i have dsl, so should it help to do that stuff that you said superlord?[/quote:38w0vksg]

    Uh, maybe?

Seriously, just check your Torrent clients webpage for help, or their forum or something. I’m only giving advice that worked for me… because I don’t know how to troubleshoot any other problems :|

i’ll try it superlord, but i don’t have high hopes with this pile of crap i call a computer.

but who knows- maybe it will work.

thanks for explaining things though.[/quote:3apr3jxr]

No problem. The performance of your computer should have a minimal effect on d/l speed, by the way. It’s more or less entirely dependent on connection speed and bandwidth.

oops, forgot that i was helping people.

In BitTorrent, to change speed limits, go to Options > Preferences > Connection. You should see, near the bottom, Global Bandwidth limiting. Set Max. D/l rate to 0. Set the first upload box to 50, tick the tickbox, and put 0 in the second.

I get good speed with those settings.

ALSO make sure your Firewall isn’t interfering.

Go to your respective clients webpage, and check their help info for more information.

but superlord, i am not that smart, i downloaded the graceful swans of never and a few other things, after 4 hours it didn’t even have 3 percent of one done. how do i change the speed? or is my computer just that slow, cause i have to much stuff on it. i am gonna have to clean out the computer anyway.[/quote:3k3dih5y]

What torrent program are you using?

For people with slow torrent speeds…

Have you limited the upload speed? Usually, if the up speed is limited below a certain number, then your down speed won’t ever go above 6 times your limited down speed. Or something like that. If you set your up speed higher (or just to plain unlimited) you may not have as many problems.

you didn’t even notice about the strippers.[/quote:3jupuilb]

Meh. I’m not legally old enough anyway. It’s not like that was entirely feasible :(

in reply to: Post your thoughts #9920

Ah sweet :) When does that Sims looking thing "Home" start up on PSN? Looks like something that I’d get addicted to :p
Why do you need the 250gb hard drive for your PS3? Can’t you just use the wireless to connect to your laptop/pc?[/quote:qf3gm1qb] I have no idea when ‘Home’ comes out, unfortunately. I recommend you subscribe to the because they pretty much have the finger on the pulse regarding PS3 news.

And a 250GB harddrive for the PS3 means that I can copy a lot of music (high quality) into the PS3, download games/demos/movies, and have easy access to them. Connecting wirelessly to my PC would be too slow (and I don’t have the right hardware)

in reply to: Post your thoughts #9911

Yes, if by party you mean provide me with enough money to buy everything I need to compliment this rather happy state of affairs (The new, vibration enabled PS3 controller, awesome TV, 250Gb replacement hard drive, every CD on my Amazon wish list AND THEN SOME, and any game I so desire) and then bugger off and leave me to play my games for days on end, then yes! Let’s get the party STARTED!
