No way – we’re going for the 1987 stuff!

Nah, we’ll yell for more of the obscurities that you only get from being even partially involved in the collectors community

    Nah.

I’d rather prefer an intimate concert with them :)

    google?

in reply to: A ruined jersey shirt going for 83,000 US$? #15246

yeah, if you limit it to, say, 90000 (85000 cheaper) you could fly the active members out and still have enough to convince BC/JC to do it

Just go to SP.com. They have a whole section of fan pics!

No prizes for guessing who my top artist will be :P[/quote:2jbupmnc]

    Britney Spears?

in reply to: Adore – Female Names in Songs #15400

I know what you mean – Adore is truly a beautiful album, but very tragic, which doesn’t make it accessible to the mainstream like MCIS and SD did…

in reply to: Infinite Sadness (help needed) #15421

Ah, you shouldn’t really discussing the filesharing of copyrighted material in the main forum.

    I’ll PM you

in reply to: Adore – Female Names in Songs #15397

Just the rest. I wonder if these are inspired by real people or just poetic parameter.[/quote:3e294gac]
Probably for poetic/romantic use. Alluding to things, as well as feminizing them for whatever reason (Billy mentioned that his music is essentially female or something like that once)

Maybe he finds it easier to discuss issues when they are given a female form? Maybe they best represent the stuff he’s talking about? Maybe it’s just a poetic device? Who knows!

I once had a myspace page called "Send this file over to you". Had a good time with it sharing and collecting songs and such…………but it is no more, shut down and wiped out.[/quote:36y3h733]
To be fair, you did it on myspace. Not exactly discrete, huh?

(in the future – be subtle, use private messages, and share files through torrent. Well, when dealing with copyrighted stuff  )

About the homework thing – research has shown that homework doesn’t help in a child’s education really until secondary/high school.

I’m really digging the band Kill Hannah at the moment :) I don’t know if it’ll be any of your type of thing, but it’s cool. They’re also a Chicago based band – Billy himself praised them, stating that they’re the future of chicago rock!

And i’ve got, and have played heavily, the Metal Gear Online beta trial. It’s pretty awesome! :D

    Awesome! Thanks a bunch!

    how do you download it?

    sorry for my dumbness.[/quote:29a7im2a]

Go to link, type in the three letters near the top into the box, press download. Wait until the free download link activates, click download, download, enjoy!

you know what, when i look for pictures on msn search, and go to images, there is a picture that keeps comming up that is fairly disturbing, it is a picture of arnold schwarshaneger (not spelled right i know) naked, wtf???[/quote:9jvrby1w]

Well, that’s why i use google.

    :P

in reply to: Poster Question #15222

I wouldn’t go with laminating. I don’t know much, but i assume it would lose value.

Frame it! Keeps the poster intact and looks cool!

Superlord… I’m not into games that much anymore… Doom and other granddaddy games I did lots in the old days, and only sometimes I do childrens games with nieces and nephews, you know how it goes… And also too busy nowadays you know. 8)

But this sounds too cool to miss out on. I’ll try it later, promise! Will let you know.[/quote:25t0d017]

And it’s a ‘causal’ game – you can get absorbed and play it for hours straight, or you can play it for 5 minutes whilst your waiting for something – it’s your choice (imagine, if you will, an uber version of solitaire  )

    in reply to: Audiosurf #15203

    I just played this with Sunn O)))’s \"Deafeating Earth’s Gravity\".

It’s dark ambient drone, and because it has no beat and is really intense – the course was ridiculously fast. Put simply, my mind turned numb afterwards. Seriously. Intense.

I must point out – MU doesn’t work in every region :?

    folk? in thrash metal? interesting…..[/quote:2up52y0n]

    It’s just the intro riff.

in reply to: Post your thoughts #9640

There was just a huge wasp in my room. It was like… over an inch long. It flew out, but damn it was big. Also, i’m hugely scared by wasps.

Also, i’m listening to my mates bands songs. all i can say is LOL!
They are so hideously cliched (think old school metallica/megadeth with unoriginal lyrics) it’s actually appalling  Also, my mate has no power or menace in his vocals. He’s crooning. In thrash metal. However one of his songs has a pretty nice folk style riff (seriously!) but nevertheless – it’s godawful.

but hey, i really like any video with billy in it.[/quote:263hcmc4]

What about replicas of billy? Such as a porcelain head made up to look like Billy?

Because in that case, you should watch Starfuckers inc. by Nine Inch Nails

in reply to: New category on SPfreaks: CDs (Tribute). #5494

found a link to the CD in eBay:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/FINAL-FANTASY-XII-P … dZViewItem[/quote:1sumedzq]

    Cool.

You mentioned that you have the CD – would you mind ripping and uploading it for me? I’m very interested but alas, not in a position to get it on ebay :( (something to do with being too young to have a credit card or something  )

in reply to: so where are you from? #13450

First I asked my father nicely to smoke his gun.

Then my mum’s womb spit me on earth.

    That was in The Netherlands.

    I still live there. :D[/quote:2ugco80a]

That is disturbing on many levels. Firstly, what you are implying with the description of your father is weird. Secondly, the mother bit is just graphic. Thirdly, you – their SON – do not seem to be bothered by the thoughts.

    It’s just… disturbing.
