ArthurSpectatorand i tried to see if jimmy had on stripy socks, but we couldn’t see.[/quote:2q4079nd]
You ARE a girl! No doubt!Seriously, it must have been awesome being there. I can imagine you went all shy and humble when being in his neighbourhood. Glad the "jerkey guys" didn’t take over the good moods there. Bullet, were there many younger fans too (like below 20), and older fans also, like 35+? Just curious.
ArthurSpectatorAwesome bullet, finally some shows for the US freakies! And I really think they are playing their asses of over there for us. I heard the other 2 concerts after I downloaded them, and they ROCK!
Now manilla goes to the tonight show, wonder if he has a great time too. At least you did, where is last rose’s review?
ArthurSpectatorHonestly, I like the attitude and people over here better then the site I even work on![/quote:1ec5pfzl]
This is probably not very helpful in your next career & salary meeting with Aaron.
ArthurSpectatorHe really sent you one[/quote:jr2cei4y]
On average he sends me around 3 when it comes to concert – and other promo posters. Test pressings for cds and singles, only 1 of course. Sometimes I PayPal him a few bucks for shipment.Hey, kidding! I wish it was true! Fact is, I’m buying my stuffs from the same places as you guys…

Of course, Billy always sends a few test pressings to me to hear my approval. He does that since The Marked era. Now, finally, you know the secret to my huge collection.
ArthurSpectatorOr watch the pics here in our SPfreaks Collection every now and then…

Not telling, otherwise Cool As Ice Cream will come to steal the black version, the orange version, the blue version, the white version, the brown version, the grey version and the multicolored version. Also he might be interested in Manilla’s red versions from South Africa, Iceland, Belarus, Greece, Poland, Israel, Cayman Islands, Monaco, Peru, Bangladesh, French Polynesia, Puerto Rico, Cameroon, Haiti, Iraq, Mongolia, Nepal, Paraguay, Tajikistan, Zimbabwe, Vietnam and a pretty cool one-off release from the Pitcairn Islands. Not to mention the Swedish misprinted test pressing that contains artwork of a Scandinavian porn movie.
ArthurSpectatorNice!
ArthurSpectatoryes. completely in love with the older stuff. black and white and technicolor. panavision. this is the way to see movies.

I wished we lived 10 miles or so from each other. We should organize movie weekends together.**Manilla, going back to his car to fetch the next set of dvds: "I’ll be back!"**
**Arthur, meanwhile throwing an empty beer can to Manilla: "Youâve got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?"**
ArthurSpectatorOne more thing
Did I forget to mentionTHE PUMPKINS ARE BACK FULL FORCE[/quote:3tflt1sh]
I think so too. This setlist is amazing, and though the quality of the MP3 we got here is so-so, it’s still a huge listening pleasure. Lucky you over there, seeing these shows! Rock on!
ArthurSpectatorHere’s the full setlist of 2008/08/08 with rehearsel info (found on SPLRA.org).

ArthurSpectatori wonder if there is any word yet on using band images and logos.[/quote:s6n4f1iw]
Use any logo or image you like I guess. I would do that anyway, if I were allowed to compete in this contest.
ArthurSpectatorwell from another person who talked with billy, can’t remember if it was the bullshit guy or someone else, but billy said that it would not be a physical release in the us because of some kind of disagreement with the record lable, but i thought they had thier own record lable, so i am a little confused.
plus even if they release it in europe only, we can still get it, i am sure if we paypaled some money to arthur he would pick us up a copy and providing we sent enough for postage would also send it to us. cause i am pretty sure he is cool like that.[/quote:y9akiwzi]
To clear this a little, having your own record label means not that much. For the copyright on your own songs, OK. To have some more influence on where and how to release things, OK. But that doesn’t mean you have full access to the distribution companies & channels that work for labels, what about the marketing, what about the pressing plants worldwide… It’s quite something having a physical item released in a certain area. Having your own label is not enough, that’s what I’m saying. That’s where the big labels come in handy. And yes, when it’s available in NL I’ll get you a copy of course. Thing is, it might be UK only, so I order it online anyway, which you can do also. Saves a lot on shipment. Let’s wait how it goes.
ArthurSpectatorI know what you mean blueczarina. But I’ve been there too many times with the Smashing Pumpkins, with tracks or releases that were only available in Japan, UK, US, France… But I guess we are lucky too in NL/EU as many Smashing Pumpkins singles were released here with extra tracks, not available elsewhere at the moment of release. And we seem to stick to the CD format a bit longer also… I’m not a big fan of iTunes and the likes either, but I’m afraid it’s going to be the future… and the end of my collecting career also…
ArthurSpectatori just don’t like it when they release something and its only available certain places, as in not in the US- ie. AG and probably GLOW.
[/quote:1mb1qu7k]
Actually I love it, gives me something to hunt for. And it’s very special having something that almost nobody in the EU has. -
