I agree with ladyn. I think that they’re probably just friends. She doesn’t seem like his type, I mean she does seem friendly but he seems to go for more of the artsy and intelligent types. I never trust gossip sites, where do they even get their information from? I find it hard to believe that \"friends\" or unnamed \"sources\" would reveal such personal info (that only they would know), like why would a \"friend\" say something like ‘she’s desperate’ and another say that they’re just \"getting to know one another\"? It’s just silly garbage. Also, a picture showing them walking doesn’t prove anything. Even if it is true, I can’t picture it lasting for very long. I’m just surprised how much this rumor has spread, but I guess that is what happens with two famous people.
I’m a little bit sad that they got rid of the old site. Some of it was pointless but I thought the articles and band posts should have been kept. I think it’s lazy just to link to hipsters united for any news. It seems like they’ve just stopped putting any effort into it now. I’m still hoping they’ll change it but Billy seems to be much more interested in his new spiritual website.
Why only announce a new single for September? Not that Iâm complaining it just seems odd. I guess they announced it now to coincide with the âera showsâ or something along those lines.
great video, I really enjoyed it. I loved hearing them talk in such a relaxed setting, billy and uli had some insightful things to say regarding music. there were some pretty funny moments during the museum visit, âthis is me in 30 years, staring off into my lonelinessâ, uli talking about various pieces of art, and billy’s eyes seemed to light up when he started talking about his cats. he seems like he’s the type of person that could just go on and on talking about his cats…actually i think he did that quite a bit during the tfe era.
Has anyone deciphered what his clothes are supposed to represent (normally I wouldnât think too much about it but this is Billy we are talking about so there is probably some reasoning to this in his mind), itâs Saturn on his shirt right?
By the way, I know Billy is usually cryptic about things but I thought his message was a bit strange, anyone else think so? Sometimes I wish he would write/speak in a more normal way (like the rest of the band members).

What I want them to play or what they are more likely to play? I doubt they would ever play a lot of the songs I want to hear. Cool, glad to see they are still recording some old tracks (although Iâm not a big fan of superchrist), wish the clips were just a tinsy bit longer. It looks like Billy never takes a break; theyâve been in LA recording since the tour ended back in November. Nonetheless, Iâm excited about the upcoming tour and curious what new songs they may play.
Iâm a little bit disappointed that they have not specified a reason as to why the first 2 dates were cancelled. If itâs personal they donât have to give details, they can simple say it was due to a âfamily emergencyâ. If it was due to poor weather or lack of ticket sales then they should say so as well. As far as I know Serbia and Hungary have never had a show played there. Itâs simply disappointing that they would not at least let those fans know why they may never get the chance to see SP.

I’m guessing it has to do with a relationship and putting aside fears, going with flow, etc? Some of the lines don’t make much sense at all to me. Anyways, I’m glad they are releasing material inbetween.
EDIT: I’m also confused as to how this ep is a statement on the current american culture. again, again, again also seems to be about a love relationship. I guess i was expecting more overt political/social lyrics.

It was okay. Nothing that really blew my mind other than trying to figure out who everyone was.
But sometimes I wonder why they make videos at all anymore. It seems MTV and VH1 no longer show videos. Not even in the middle of the night — which is a bummer. Remember Alternative Nation? I *loved* that show.

No, that’s not what I meant by the edit. I had written something else concerning ve after seeing her profile but I didn’t want any misunderstanding so I deleted it. Sorry about the confusion.
And yes, I agree with you. I don’t see the point of making videos these days but then again I don’t think SP are putting as much effort as they did during their MCIS days either.
What did you all think of the video? I wasnât particularly fond of it and I would prefer that P.R. Brown wouldnât make anymore of their videos in the future.

I think this song is beautiful and I really enjoyed it. However, I can see why they didn’t add it onto the actual album, it seems out of place.
Of course we’ve all seen him in stranger things, dresses, the Goth dress he wore to the some award show (w/ Yelena dressed totally conservatively)

Yeah, when I saw this I was surprised by how good it sounded/looked. I mean, I like Melissa but I wasnât really a fan of her solo work. She seems to just get better and better. Iâm looking forward to this.
Thanks, Shampoo — Yes, it was in early 1997. The photo you sent blows my mind. His dad does look like him. I wonder if he shaved his head? He had a headfull of it back in ’97 and was sporting a shiny running suit. This picture is brilliant.
Where can I find the picture of his mom? That’s so cool. .
What about his brothers? I’ve never seen photos of them either.

He did shave his head, everytime he appeared with Billy he was bald. Have you ever seen the "graceful swans of never" or "full circle" doc? Check yotube for them. Billy once posted the link to his brotherâs site when he use to blog (the baby blue site) and there was a picture of him there (and some cool airbrush work). According to the confessions, his mom is the baby sitting on the moon; there is another one that could also be his mom, to me that kid kind of looks like Billy.
You have no idea how much I want to spill all of it. I think I edited the message 3 times before I felt it was not giving away much. I just feel very sorry for Billy.
I don’t have any other stories about the other people in the band. I never met them and it wasn’t talked about at all.

Sorry about the first comment, I wasnât trying to pry, I was just being facetious. I just didnât realize that this whole VG thing was that big of a deal. The âIâm single and looking for a wifeâ banter is funny and I assumed it had nothing to do with VG. I just assumed heâs been through this before countless times and that it was just another situation to deal with.
Nice lists.
